The Role: We are looking for an experienced and motivated Manager to lead our Technical Department. This role is crucial for driving the technical excellence and operational efficiency of our solar PV & BESS projects. As a key leader, you will be responsible for managing the technical team, overseeing project execution, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and spearheading innovation in our technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the technical team, ensuring high performance and continuous development.
- Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of solar PV systems for residential and industrial projects.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards (e.g., SEDA, Suruhanjaya Tenaga).
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
- Drive continuous improvement in technical processes and solutions.
- Support business development activities by providing technical expertise and solutions.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role within the electrical or renewable energy sector, specifically solar PV systems.
- Proven track record of managing technical teams and successfully delivering complex projects.
- In-depth knowledge of solar PV system design, installation, and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of local regulatory requirements and standards.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in project management and familiar with relevant software tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
