Job Summary

The Technical Marketing Engineer/Specialist plays a key role in expanding the company's customer base through digital marketing, strengthening brand presence, and supporting sales with impactful technical content. The role combines marketing, technical understanding, and collaboration across departments to drive product awareness and market growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new customer leads and explore new markets using digital and innovative marketing methods.
  • Support the Marketing HOD in building and executing brand strategies to enhance brand visibility and awareness.
  • Create technical marketing materials such as videos, project references, and white papers in collaboration with Sales and Technical teams.
  • Gather market and competitor information, analyse trends, and present insights to Sales and Market Development teams.
  • Manage and update digital platforms, including website content, SEO optimisation, and online advertising campaigns.
  • Disseminate technical content through social media, webinars, and online events to attract and nurture leads.
  • Support both digital and physical sales promotion activities, such as exhibitions and on-site product demonstrations.
  • Share market information with Southeast Asian group companies to strengthen regional collaboration.
  • Prepare marketing materials, promotional items, and support various marketing activities.
  • Travel within Malaysia and Singapore when required for content creation and marketing tasks.

Reporting & Collaboration

  • Reports directly to the Marketing HOD.
  • Works closely with heads of departments and employees across all levels.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Strong technical understanding of product specifications and applications.
  • Good writing and presentation skills for clear communication of technical information.
  • Experience in digital content creation (videos, blogs, white papers).
  • Basic SEO knowledge and familiarity with digital marketing tools.
  • Experience in construction, building materials, or waterproofing chemical industry is an added advantage.
