Our client is a fast-growing B2B e-commerce platform specializing in fresh food and produce distribution. As part of its digital transformation journey, they are seeking a Technical Product Manager to drive product growth, customer retention, and personalization initiatives through data-driven and hands-on product development.
Job Responsibilities
- Own the e-commerce sales product roadmap and lead initiatives to improve customer lifetime value (LTV), retention, upselling, and cross-selling through digital features
- Design, develop, and implement recommendation, personalization, and targeting capabilities on the e-commerce platform
- Automate sales activities currently performed manually by the sales team, turning customer insights into scalable platform features
- Analyze customer purchase behavior, identify data gaps, and enhance CRM (HubSpot) and data-capture processes
- Establish KPIs, track product performance, measure business impact, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, CEO, CTO, and Product Development teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Contribute hands-on to development, system enhancement, cloud infrastructure, and the migration from PHP to TypeScript
Job Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in product management and web/e-commerce development, with proven experience delivering revenue growth through digital products
- Experience in e-commerce product development, including recommendation engines, personalization, targeting, and data-driven feature delivery
- Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, data analysis, aggregations, joins, and performance measurement
- Hands-on technical capability with software development, particularly PHP, and ideally TypeScript in production environments
- Experience with AWS services (ECS, RDS, Lambda) and Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK or Terraform)
- Knowledge of distributed systems, API integrations, batch processing, and troubleshooting across multiple services
