Who You Are:

Responsible for coordinating successful launch into production & volume ramp of LED products and/or technologies. Scope of effort is worldwide / multi-regional, and spans multiple functions across the corporation. The position requires a technically grounded individual with a broad- based and varied skill set / experience, with priority on communication and issue resolution.

Position Summary:

Lumileds is seeking a highly motivated Technical Project lead to take responsibility for the Development Life Cycle of Illumination LED products.

In this role, you will lead and execute LED product development projects.

What You Will Do:

• Be the technical project leader (TPL) for LED development projects with production at subcons. Lead projects that expand existing product ranges, and support execution of projects for new product designs.
• Ensure experimental builds, customer sample builds, and engineering builds are executed per request, accurately and on time.
• Coordinate product characterization and photometry data analysis, including calibration between production and R&D locations, to ensure products meet specifications.
• Prepare product release documentation and execute product release workflow.
• Complies with environment, security, health and safety requirements.

What You Will Bring (Required Qualifications):

• Good communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English and Mandarin (verbal and written) is preferred, due to the need to deal with China counterparts & stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

Education (Minimum Level)

• Bachelor's

Field of Study

• Engineering in Materials, Electronics, Optics, Physics, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Years of Experience (Minimum)

• 0 - 3 years

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in semiconductor industry is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience in LED design and assembly will be an advantage.
