We are partnering with a fast-growing renewable energy company seeking an experienced Technical Solution Manager to support business growth within the solar and battery energy sector in Malaysia.
This position plays a critical role in bridging technical expertise and commercial activities by supporting solution design, pre-sales engagement, customer technical consultation, and product positioning across solar PV and battery energy storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise and consultation throughout the pre-sales process to support commercial activities.
- Work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and propose suitable solar and battery system solutions.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, solution proposals, and supporting documentation.
- Respond to technical enquiries from customers, channel partners, and internal stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
- Support technical discussions during customer engagements and project evaluations.
- Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to develop solar PV and battery energy storage system (BESS) solutions.
- Support solution optimisation to achieve both technical and commercial objectives.
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical workshops for customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Educate stakeholders on product functionality, solution advantages, and installation considerations.
- Monitor renewable energy market developments, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in pre-sales engineering, solution support, technical solution, applications engineering, or related technical roles within the solar and battery energy industry.
- Experience preparing technical proposals, system designs, and solution documentation.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Degree or technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Power Engineering, or related disciplines will be highly preferred.
