Job Description

Our client is looking for a talented Commvault Technical Support Engineer to join their team! If you're passionate about solving complex technical issues, supporting enterprise environments, and working with leading data protection technologies, we'd love to meet you.

Working Location: Uptown, Petaling Jaya (On-site)

What You'll Do

Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Commvault backup & recovery solutions.

Diagnose software, hardware, networking, and virtualization-related problems.

Monitor backup jobs, disaster recovery workflows, and storage performance.

Document solutions, technical steps, and case notes clearly.

Perform root cause analysis and escalate bugs or enhancement requests.

Support customers via phone, email, and online channels with a strong service mindset.

Work with engineering teams on advanced troubleshooting.

Participate in labs, simulations, and beta testing activities.

Stay updated on Commvault releases and backup industry trends.

What We're Looking For

Degree in Computer Science, IT, or relevant field, or equivalent experience.

35 years of technical support experiencepreferably with enterprise backups.

Hands-on experience with Commvault (priority).

Bonus points: experience with Veritas, Veeam, NetBackup, or Avamar.

Strong troubleshooting skills in Windows Server, Linux, VMware/Hyper-V & networking.

Good command of English + Chinese or English + Japanese.
