Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary technical contact for customers, providing remote and on-site technical support.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues; escalate complex cases with clear technical analysis.
  • Perform system deployment, commissioning, testing, and customer training.
  • Conduct application testing, evaluations, and proof-of-concept (POC) trials.
  • Prepare basic technical documentation and service reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-regional teams and travel as required for customer support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in machine vision, industrial automation, technical support or field service engineering.
  • Solid understanding of machine vision fundamentals: cameras, lenses, lighting, image sensors, and image processing concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with industrial cameras, vision lighting, lenses, and vision software.
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as GigE Vision, USB3 Vision, Camera Link, Ethernet/IP, Profinet, or similar is an advantage.
  • Ability to analyze customer applications and propose suitable vision solutions.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a proactive and responsible attitude.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Willing to travel frequently internationally and domestically.
