Job Summary

A key member of the 247 Network Operations team responsible for centralized monitoring of U Mobile's network. This role performs real-time fault detection, first-level troubleshooting, and timely escalation to ensure service continuity. It also supports issue diagnosis, prevention, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to maintain overall network performance and stability.

The Day-To-Day Activities

  • Serve as a team member of a 247 Network Operations team, acting as a centralized command and surveillance hub for U Mobile network infrastructure.
  • Proactively conduct real-time network monitoring, fault detection and analysis, delivering first-level troubleshooting and ensuring timely escalation to maintain service continuity.
  • Provide critical operational support in diagnosing, resolving, and preventing network issues, ensuring optimal performance, stability, and overall network health assurance.
  • Act as the primary point of coordination and communication between internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless information flow and timely issue resolution.

About You

  • Hold a Diploma in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science, providing a strong technical foundation in network and systems operations.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and commitment to shift-based operations, with the ability to perform effectively in a 247 rotational environment.
  • Preferably bring hands-on experience within the telecommunications industry, with exposure to operational processes, network environments, and service assurance.
  • Possess proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
