Job Summary
The Equipment Technician supports the maintenance operations of FOL (Front-of-Line) equipment. This role is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting machine issues, executing improvement initiatives, managing tooling, and assisting with parts procurement. The technician plays a key role in ensuring high equipment reliability and supporting a worldclass manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Preventive Maintenance
- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance activities for FOL equipment to ensure optimal machine uptime and performance.
- Troubleshoot and Recover Equipment
- Diagnose and resolve equipment breakdowns promptly to minimize production downtime.
- Support Improvement Projects
- Carry out simple improvement activities aimed at reducing machine downtime and enhancing process efficiency.
- Execute Equipment Conversions
- Perform equipment package conversions and device changeovers according to production requirements.
- Maintain ESD Compliance
- Ensure proper functioning and upkeep of ESD devices, grounding systems, and related equipment to maintain ESD safety standards.
- Replace Tool-Life Parts
- Monitor and replace toollife components based on the established maintenance schedule.
- Support 5S and Workplace Organization
- Conduct 5S activitiesincluding red tagging and Kaizen exercisesto maintain a clean, organized, and efficient working environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Diploma in Engineering (Preferable mechatronics)
- 2 years experience in semiconductor industry
- Relevant experience in Semiconductor Assy. manufacturing environment
