Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Technician at our Hydro Power Station based in Sungai Siput. The Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks for equipment and systems at the hydro power station. The role involves monitoring machinery, ensuring efficient and safe operations, and keeping comprehensive maintenance records. Additional tasks include performing preventative maintenance to address potential operational challenges and collaborating with team members to optimize station performance.

Qualifications

• Technical skills in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
• Knowledge of hydro power systems and related technologies
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Focus on safety protocols and compliance with operational standards
• Relevant vocational training, diploma, or degree in a technical field
• Experience working in a power generation facility or similar is advantageous
• Ability to work on-site in Sungai Siput and adapt to operational demands
