JOB SUMMARY
To assist team members to inspect, monitor and maintain related work for electrical equipment in pump houses and reservoirs
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To assist superior to monitor rotation/performance of contactor panel for emergency works related to M&E for production and distribution.
- To assist in the inspection with registered Electrical Competent Engineer by Air Selangor to inspect all the systems High Voltage Pump House two times every month for power supply up to 11kV and four times every month for power supply up to 33kV.
- To assist chargeman to do repairing, maintaining, servicing, and troubleshooting generators set for backup supply at Air Selangor pump house.
- To assist chargeman to repair, maintain, servicing, and troubleshooting electrical part and equipment in High Voltage (up to 33kV) and Low Voltage (0.415kV) Pump House with scheduled and unscheduled works.
- To monitor and supervise contractors on site for completion of the project to ensure the work plan and method follow by Air Selangor standard operating procedure.
- To attend and assist chargeman in rectifying problems involves electrical equipment at High Voltage (up to 33kV) and Low Voltage (0.415kV) Pump House.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess Diploma in Electrical or Electronic, Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 2-5 years working experience in electrical field and pumping operation is an advantage.
- Experienced in troubleshoot involve in electrical part and equipment.
- Well knowledge in basic principle of the electrical system, known constitutive equipment of electricity, HT/LV system, induction motors, generators and water supply.
- Knowledge in testing and commissioning of electrical installation Candidate must be hands on, cooperative, hardworking, teamwork, responsible, positive attitude and able to work independently.
Knowledge
- Familiar with the installation specifications, testing, operating and maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Well knowledge in basic principle of the electrical system, known constitutive equipment of electricity, LV system, induction motors, firefighting system, generators, power and lightings and water supply.
