Technician - HVAC or Electrical

Position: HVAC or Electrical Technician - Battery Manufacturing Plant

Location: Serendah, Rawang, Selangor, Malaysia

Terms: Full-time

Position Overview:

We are seeking technician with a focus on either HVAC systems or Electrical systems to join our team. The Equipment Operation & Field Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable performance of power facilities and related electrical systems through proactive operation, maintenance, and repair activities. This role involves executing both planned and corrective maintenance, identifying potential issues, implementing improvements, and maintaining accurate records to support operational continuity and customer satisfaction

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine operation and maintenance activities of utilities/facilities in a proactive and timely manner.
• Monitor facilities equipment conditions, identify malfunctions or defects, and take appropriate corrective actions.
• Report unresolved issues and potential risks to supervisors in a timely manner.
• Propose improvements to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
• Ensure accurate recording of operational data and adherence to maintenance schedules.
• Execute field repairs promptly to minimize downtime and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Complete tasks and assignments as directed by supervisors.

Requirements:

• Diploma or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in maintaining power facilities and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of equipment such as air compressors, water chillers, vacuum pumps, motors, air conditioning systems, and power distribution units.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to follow work plans precisely.
• Proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on efficiency and quality.
