We're Hiring: Technician
Locations: Shah Alam | Johor Bahru | Kota Kinabalu
We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Technician to provide on-site service and repair for a wide range of home appliances at customers locations. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service while representing the company professionally in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule on-site service appointments based on customers availability.
- Perform on-site diagnostics, repair, testing, and commissioning of home appliances, equipment, and machinery.
- Use diagnostic tools (e.g. multimeter, calibrator) to identify faults and assess technical issues accurately.
- Repair defective products or arrange for replacement of faulty or worn-out parts when required.
- Prepare basic quotations for non-warranty repair jobs and clearly explain repair costs to customers.
- Educate customers on proper product usage, handling, and basic maintenance.
- Manage spare parts usage, inventory, and ensure proper documentation.
- Maintain workshop organization, cleanliness, and safety standards.
- Address customer inquiries and technical concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior.
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of working experience in repairing home appliances.
- Sound knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in household appliances.
- Basic customer service and communication skills.
- Physically fit and able to lift medium to heavy home appliances when required.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Possess a valid GDL license and confident in driving a van.
- Willing to travel for outdoor field service as required.
- Able to start work immediately.
