Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Technician (Proton e.Mas), located in Bandar Baru Bangi. The Technician will perform routine vehicle servicing, ensure the proper diagnosis and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems, and repair Proton vehicles according to the highest quality standards. Additional responsibilities include conducting regular maintenance, ensuring the use of genuine spare parts, keeping accurate service records, and maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment. Interaction with customers to explain repairs and provide advice about vehicle maintenance may also be required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in vehicle diagnostics, mechanical repairs, and maintenance
• Familiarity with electrical systems, troubleshooting techniques, and usage of diagnostic tools
• Knowledge of Proton vehicles and their service requirements is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under time constraints
• Effective communication and customer service skills
• Relevant technical certifications or diplomas in automotive engineering or a related field
• Prior experience in a similar role is an advantage
• Commitment to safety procedures and regulations in a workshop environment
