Technician - Quality (Test Coordinator)

Job Description

1. Job Summary

Responsible for coordinating and managing test samples throughout the testing process, including sample request, submission, tracking, and result follow-up.

1. Job Scope

. Responsible to request test samples from the production lines via Production Order

. Responsible to follow up on the samples and ensure all orders are closed in a timely manner

. Responsible to arrange and submit test samples according to defined test plan to respective test labs

. Responsible to monitor and follow up on the test progress with relevant test lab to ensure tests are completed as scheduled

. Responsible to provide feedback to Engineers when issues are identified during testing.

. Responsible to issue failure notices to the concerned party when test failures are detected

. Responsible to maintain accurate testing records and ensure all test results are properly documented

1. Knowledge and Exposure

. Able to speak and write in English & Bahasa Malaysia

. Basic computer literacy (eg. Microsoft Excel and Words). Advanced knowledge in Excel is an added advantage

. Systematic and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

. Able to manage multiple tasks and follow up effectively to ensure timely completion

Qualifications

Minimum Diploma in any Engineering/ Science discipline or an Engineering/Science Certificate with 3 years of relevant working experience
