Currently, the company is recruiting a local employee to assist in establishing, leading, and developing its core business in Labuan. They are seeking an individual with a relevant background and in-depth knowledge of the IT industry in Labuan. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills and be fluent in English.

Technology Analyst (Associate Level)

This role is focused on understanding how technologies work, comparing available options, and presenting clear insights to support decision-making. It is not a coding role, and not an IT support role. The emphasis is on technical understanding analyzing systems, processes, tools, and their interactions.

Responsibilities

• Research and evaluate a wide range of technologies across infrastructure, software, automation, and services.
• Break down how technologies function and assess their suitability for different use cases.
• Prepare concise technical briefs, comparisons, and explanatory documentation.
• Run small exploratory tests or configurations to validate findings when required.
• Provide technical input that informs business and strategic recommendations.

Desired Profile

• Background in engineering, computer science, information systems, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong interest in how technology works at a conceptual and system level.
• Ability to analyze, compare, and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Some hands-on familiarity with systems, configuration, or scripting is preferable
• Clear written/spoken English for documentation and reports.
