About the Role

This role is to manage the company's Technology vendors. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing sourcing, managing quality, performance, cost-effectiveness, control and contractual obligations review of our technology vendors.

The expected impact includes:
. Better control of GOE and project costs, leading to better control of escalating costs
. Tight internal and regulatory compliance, avoiding potentially high impact non-compliance in relation to IT expenditure and vendor contracts
. Control on the performance and quality of the technology vendors deliverables to AIA Bhd.

• Review vendor sourcing and selection to ensure alignment with company's strategic goals and objectives
• Monitor vendor performance, quality, and compliance with contractual obligations and service level agreements (SLAs)
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and manage contract renewals and terminations
• Work with internal stakeholders to identify and assess vendor performance issues, risks and opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies
• Manage vendor relationships, including regular communication, performance reviews and issue resolution
• Ensure that the vendors meet regulatory and compliance requirements
• Collaborate with other departments to evaluate the effectiveness of vendor management processes and recommend improvements
• Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization
• Keep the technology and operations vendor contracts inventory up-to-date
• Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and/or other requirements
