Description

We are seeking a motivated Tele Collector / Credit Recovery Officer to join our team in Southeast Asia. In this role, you will be responsible for contacting customers to recover outstanding debts and manage payment plans while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound calls to customers for debt collection and payment recovery.
  • Negotiate payment arrangements and resolve billing discrepancies with clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and payment agreements in the database.
  • Provide excellent customer service while handling sensitive financial information.
  • Achieve monthly collection targets and contribute to the overall team performance.
  • Follow up on payment commitments and maintain communication with customers.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic understanding of financial principles and credit management.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and software for data entry and record keeping.
  • Ability to handle difficult conversations and resolve disputes amicably.
  • Familiarity with collection laws and regulations in the region is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
