Job Summary
The Telemarketing Agent is responsible for achieving assigned sales targets by effectively communicating the benefits of AEON Bank's Shariah-compliant products (primarily Personal Financing-i (PF-i) and CASA Savings Accounts). This role involves proactive outbound calling to the leads, rigorous qualification of prospects, and maintaining strict adherence to banking regulations and ethical sales conduct to ensure a high standard of professional service.
Job Descriptions
Sales
- Outbound Calling: Conduct proactive calls to potential and existing customers sourced from mall kiosks, referrals, or databases to offer Personal Financing-i (PF-i) and CASA Savings Accounts, as well as Takaful campaigns.
- Product Promotion: Clearly and persuasively explain the features, advantages, and benefits of various banking products and campaigns to meet customer needs.
- Lead Generation & Qualification: Identify, verify, and pre-qualify potential customers to ensure they meet bank criteria, significantly improving the chances of conversion and loan disbursement. Subsequently drive the follow-ups and value closure.
- Handling Inquiries: Resolve customer questions about products, services, and application processes in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
Compliance & Operations
- Compliance Adherence: Adhere to approved scripts and ensure all communication with customers complies with banking regulations (including AML/CFT and PDPA), and company policies, maintaining a high standard of professional and ethical conduct.
- Customer Relationship Management: Accurately and diligently record all customer interactions, including instructions, follow-up actions, and customer details, in the designated CRM/lead tracker system.
- Market Feedback: Gather essential feedback from customer interactions, service issues, and market trends, and relay this information to the marketing and product development teams for continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, telemarketing, or the financial services industry, preferably focusing on loans or deposits.
- Familiarity with Islamic Banking products (PF-i) is highly advantageous.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed challenging sales targets.
- Excellent Communication Skills: The ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and persuasively over the phone, including active listening to genuinely understand customer financial needs.
- Strong Sales and Negotiation Skills: Possesses a natural aptitude for sales, with the ability to handle objections and efficiently close deals.
- Customer-Focused Mindset: A genuine desire to help customers and provide them with the best solutions for their financial needs.
- Product Knowledge: Must acquire and maintain a strong understanding of AEON Bank's Islamic banking products and services.
- Positive Attitude: The ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive and professional demeanour throughout the day in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
