Company Description Materials Technology Education Sdn. Bhd. (MTE), incorporated in 2004, is an industry-driven training provider registered with Petronas, the Human Resource Development Fund (HRDF), and the Ministry of Finance (MOF). The organization specializes in technical training focused on individual competency development, with over a decade of experience. MTE has been actively supporting and delivering Institute of Materials, Malaysia (IMM) Certification Programs related to materials science. Guided by the vision Quality Innovative Skills Education, MTE offers competency development programs designed to produce quality, professional knowledge workers for global engineering and technology skills demands.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Telesales Executive role based in Shah Alam. The Telesales Executive will handle outbound and inbound calls to promote training programs, explain course offerings, and respond to inquiries from prospective and existing clients. The role includes qualifying leads, following up on marketing-generated prospects, and maintaining accurate records of interactions in the CRM or sales tracking system. The Telesales Executive will collaborate with the sales and training teams to meet enrollment targets, prepare basic quotations and proposals, and support customers throughout the registration process. Daily responsibilities also involve updating management on pipeline status, and ensuring a professional, service-oriented experience for all callers.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication skills, including clear phone etiquette and the ability to explain training programs effectively.
  • Customer Service and Customer Support skills to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and build positive, long-term relationships.
  • Lead Generation and Sales skills to identify prospects, and convert inquiries into enrollments.
  • Basic computer literacy, including experience with CRM systems or sales databases.
  • Ability to work on-site in Shah Alam and manage a high volume of calls in a fast-paced environment.
  • Results-driven mindset with good time management and organizational skills.
  • Prior telesales or sales experience in education, training, or related sectors is an advantage.
  • Minimum diploma qualification; higher education in business, marketing, or related fields is beneficial.
