PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The incumbent is responsible to perform field sales in developing and acquiring new businesses as well as works as a channel among sales, marketing and senior management by implementing planned strategy within the sales force.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
To be accountable for achieving business plan within assigned accounts and delivering profitable growth and resolve issues and conducting root cause analysis, if requires independently.
Executes sales strategy to meet/exceed given sales target by working and building strong relationship with doctors or KOLs (i.e. Cardiologists etc.) in private or government hospitals.
Customer cold calling, direct sales through product introduction and presentation. This may include working with current accounts or with investigational sites and customers where product acceptance has not been established.
To manage key processes and procedures involved in the sales or services while maintaining compliance to established business and healthcare compliance regulation guidelines.
Delivers efficient and quality technical service for assigned products that maximizes patient benefits and reinforces the message to the customer.
To ensure strategic account plans are developed and implemented effectively.
To support marketing team on programs, workshops or congress, as and when required.
To support clinical studies, if any.
To provide technical support, including tools maintenance, testing, directly or indirectly to field and inquiries from doctors, at all times, if requires.
To assist implantations/procedures, performs follow-up, if requires.
Keeps informed on the up-to-date industry trends and regulations.
Involves in preparation of tenders and professional congresses.
Complies with Company policies and practices.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelors degree in biomedical, business or marketing.
Experience:
1 to 3 years healthcare industry experience with proven track record in medical device sales to doctors/hospitals.
Able to identify, establish and develop relationships with doctors to support company product lines.
Good knowledge of working in sterile room environment and medical device product lines through direct physician interaction and procedural consultation.
Knowledge of providing clinical support to surgeons during procedures is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
Self-motivated and driven.
