Our client is a well established MNC that specializes in manufacturing and supplying pipe, fittings and flow control system for the flow control industry. They are currently seeking a Territory Sales Manager for Southern Malaysia territory.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prospect and visit Owners, Consultants and Contractors/EPC in order to promote Products/Systems for commercial and industrial application/projects
- Pursue and obtain acceptance in specifications of Products/Systems by Owners, Consultants and Contractors/EPC
- Ensure the promotion of Products in the territory by means of seminars, training, technical literature and technical support.
- Manage local distributor and ensure proper information flow is available and maintained
- Visit job sites and follow up the installation process/procedure by contractors, train contractor's personnel in usage and installation
- Provide weekly reports on activities and marketing intelligence in the territory
- Perform other duties assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5yrs professional sales experience in products/system solutions for the construction/industrial market
- Experience in managing distributor/channel partners will be an advantage
- Experience in the fire protection industry will be a plus
- Strong communication skills and professional appearance, high proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Familiarity with the piping business a plus or demonstrate the ability to quickly acquire the necessary knowledge and skills
