Involved in the day-to-day execution of the UAT. This includes the understanding of Insurance / Financial Operations, workflow systems, and applying testing discipline in project environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute test cases based on pre-defined scripts
- Accurately log and track defects in the defect management tool
- Support documentation and evidence collation for test results
- Report daily progress to the project team
- Participate in requirement and test walkthrough sessions
- Collaborate with senior testers to resolve issues
Technical / Industry Knowledge
- Basic understanding of testing concepts
- Familiarity with insurance or financial business processes (preferred)
- Appreciation of digital tools and applications used in testing
- Willingness to learn defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
Problem-Solving & Decision-Making
- Make clear Pass/Fail decisions for individual test cases based on expected results
