about the job

• Design, develop, and maintain the test automation framework to support functional and regression testing, including executing test cases and documenting results.

• Manage and maintain secure version control for the automation framework and related test scripts.

• Ensure the automation framework integrates effectively with selected CI/CD tools, where applicable.

• Verify that features function correctly before proceeding with automation scripting.

• Contribute to sprint planning and QA discussions to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

• Log, monitor, and follow up on defects using issue tracking systems until resolution.

requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience in software/product testing and quality assurance, including at least 2 years in a Test Automation Engineer role or similar capacity.

• Strong understanding of the software testing lifecycle, with experience in Agile development environments.

• Practical experience developing automation frameworks for both web and mobile applications.

• Proficient in automation scripting using Playwright and C# .NET/JavaScript.

• Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
