(a MAS-licensed CMS holder permitted to carry out, inter alia, brokerage and custody services), MetaComp introduces its suite of services through CAMP (Client Assets Management Platform) which allow businesses to develop and scale their digital asset offerings through various products and/or services such as over-the-counter transactions, fiat payments, digital asset custody and prime brokerage.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for test development and implementation of automated testing for the company's backend business systems. Rapidly build and continuously iterate the testing framework based on business requirements, efficiently execute various business testing tasks, and ensure stable production releases.
- Analyse the logic, data flows and end-to-end processes of various backend business modules, accurately identify business pain points, process bottlenecks and potential risks, and produce clear business flow documentation and test plans.
- Build and maintain automated test scripts and testing tools using Python, continuously improve testing efficiency, optimise testing processes, and reduce regression testing costs.
- Participate in requirements reviews and technical solution reviews, proactively identify potential testing risks in requirements and technical designs, and drive issue remediation to ensure the quality of business iterations.
- Follow the full business iteration lifecycle and adapt to rapid business changes by efficiently completing functional testing, regression testing, performance testing and other testing activities. Provide timely feedback and follow up on the resolution of production issues.
- Collaborate with R&D and Product teams to deliver and iterate business solutions, proactively coordinate requirements across teams, efficiently drive issues to closure, and ensure smooth and timely production releases.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above, with 5+ years of experience in backend testing or test development within internet/technology companies, and experience participating in end-to-end business project iterations.
- Proficiency in basic Python syntax, with the ability to use Python to write simple test scripts and support testing activities. Deep framework development capabilities are not required; practical ability to implement test automation in day-to-day testing is sufficient.
- Strong business understanding and the ability to analyse backend business modules, understand basic business logic, interfaces and data flow with appropriate guidance.
- Practical, responsible and dependable work attitude, with strong execution capabilities and the ability to quickly adapt to business needs and efficiently deliver testing tasks without avoiding responsibility or compromising on quality.
- Strong ability to work under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing business requirements and multiple concurrent tasks, including urgent production releases and time-sensitive issue investigations.
- Basic knowledge of backend API testing and automated testing processes, familiarity with commonly used testing tools, and basic database operation skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills, with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Able to proactively identify potential issues in business processes and code and drive them through to resolution.
