Test Development Firmware Engineer
Responsibilities:
Design and develop firmware, FPGA and embedded solution for Photonics and Electronics ATE System for Camera Sensor, MOSFET, IGBT and RF products.
Provide documentation of design, prototype, validation and implementation of assigned project.
Perform system setup and testing to ensure system is meeting customer specification.
Manage supply chain for embedded component, IP, equipment, system design and fabrication.
Perform evaluation, research, experiment, prototyping, proof of concept and data analysis to determine cause effect of issue and to provide solution.
Responsible for overall project, design, development, buyoff and continuous improvement.Requirements:
Bachelor or Master Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
Experience in firmware IDE, FPGA IDE, VHDL, Verilog, C++, C and assembly language.
Knowledge in operating system, communication protocol such as TCPIP, UART, USB, I2C, SPI, MIPI, LVDS and driver development.
Strong in verbal and written communication skill.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional technical teams.
Experience in lab equipment such as oscilloscope, DMM, function generator etc.
1-3 years of working experience in related field.
Good analytical and problem solving skills.
Motivated, strong learning ability and with positive attitude.
Applicant must be willing to work in Penang and travel on assignment.
