Responsibilities
- Manufacturing Test Strategy & Execution
- Define, develop, and implement product manufacturing test strategies to ensure products meet committed specifications.
- Design and develop test suites, test programs, and test processes aligned with manufacturing and quality objectives.
- Execute calibration and functional tests for production, ensuring consistency and traceability.
- New Product Introduction (NPI)
- Test development and qualification
- Develop test methodologies for prototypes and manage transition to full production.
- Production Support & Continuous Improvement
- Improve test yield, reduce test time, and drive efficiency improvements.
- Support downtime reduction and optimize tester capacity through upgrades, standardization, and preventive maintenance.
- Restore tester‑down situations with minimal impact to Assurance of Supply (AOS).
- Test System Development & Maintenance
- Develop and maintain test systems, test fixtures, and test software across the entire product lifecycle.
- Ensure test platforms comply with ISO standards, including documentation and traceability.
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze test data, trending, and performance metrics to support capacity planning and process optimization.
- Provide detailed test reports with recommendations.
- Software/Automation/Modernization
- Develop and maintain test automation scripts (C/C++, Python, VB, C#, etc.).
- Implement automated test strategies to reduce manual testing and improve consistency.
- Support test system modernization, obsolescence management, and lifecycle continuity.
Qualifications
- Master or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related field.
- Knowledge in utilizing test measurement equipment; spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, signal generator, network analyzer, power supply, digital counter, function generator.
- Knowledge in C/C++, Python, VB, C#, etc.
- Experience in working with supplier, and CM.
- Experience in using quality tools; 5-Why analysis, Cpk analysis, 8D report, Poka Yoke, Six Sigma, LEAN.
