Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Test Engineer role based in Gelang Patah. The Test Engineer will design, develop, and maintain test plans and test cases for electronic products and assemblies, ensuring they meet functional and quality requirements. Responsibilities include executing tests, analyzing results, identifying defects, and collaborating with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve issues. The role involves setting up and calibrating test equipment, improving test processes for efficiency and accuracy, and documenting test procedures and reports in a clear and structured manner. The Test Engineer will also support root cause analysis, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and help ensure compliance with company standards and relevant industry certifications.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Test Engineering, including designing and optimizing test methodologies for electronic products.
• Candidates should possess skills in Test Execution and Test Cases, with experience planning, running, and documenting structured test activities.
• Candidates should possess skills in Testing and Functional Testing, ensuring products perform reliably according to specifications and customer requirements.
• Diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• Experience in EMS or electronics manufacturing environment is an advantage.
• Ability to interpret schematics, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site.
• Familiarity with ISO-based quality systems and continuous improvement practices (e.g., Lean, Kaizen) is beneficial.
