Job Title: Test Manager (Infrastructure Migration)
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Role Duration: 12 months (extendable)
Experience Required:
6–10 Years (Minimum 5 years in software testing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role)
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Test Manager with a strong background in IT infrastructure and migration testing. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in defining end-to-end test strategies, managing large-scale migration testing programs, and leading multi-stream testing teams. Experience in banking or financial services environments is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement end-to-end test strategy for infrastructure migration projects
- Develop test plans, test scope, and entry/exit criteria
- Oversee testing across multiple domains including:
- Infrastructure testing
- Application integration testing
- Database validation
- Network connectivity testing
- Lead and manage multi-stream testing teams across projects
- Ensure quality delivery by coordinating testing activities and timelines
- Drive adoption of testing and automation tools
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on testing scope and outcomes
- Track, manage, and report defects, risks, and test progress
- Maintain comprehensive test documentation and reports
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 6–10 years of experience in IT infrastructure and software testing
- Minimum 5 years in testing with at least 2 years in a leadership/management role
- Strong experience in infrastructure migration testing
- Proven ability to define test strategy, plans, and execution frameworks
- Experience managing large-scale testing programs and multi-team coordination
- Hands-on experience with testing and automation tools
- Strong understanding of end-to-end system integration and validation
