Role : TEST MANAGER

ROLE PURPOSE:
Responsible for planning, managing coordinating and tracking testing activities, including test automation and performance testing, until completion. The testing managers are expected to be able to automate the testing as well.
Testing Manager
- Minimum 12 years of project/software testing experience preferably in financial institutions, inclusive of minimum 5 years of test management experience.
- Familiar with Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC) and Agile Testing Lifecycle including the test and defect management process.
- Experience in managing functional testing, automation testing and performance testing.
- Attention to details. Good analytics skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaborate and front the project team and stakeholders confidently.
- Have practical working experience using at least one tool from each tool category specified at Tool Requirements section.
- Manage 2-4 testing projects at the same time with minimum supervision. Strong sense of urgency.
- Responsible to prepare the test strategy, test plan, test cycle & execution plan and test task assignments for the testing projects.
- Review all testing deliverables produced by Test Personnel to ensure completeness, sufficient coverage and accuracy.
- Responsible for test environment planning, booking and coordination to ensure availability until test completion.
- Responsible for test data management includes the test data generation, data anonymization based on the criteria provided.
- Work with Test Personnel and/or Programmers to prepare, develop the test automation and execute tests through automation.
- Part of the testing team to perform the testing (either test manually or through automation testing).
- Track and report the testing progress daily, including automation testing progress.
- Conduct the defect triage meeting, track and manage all the testing issues until test completes.
- Prepare the test completion report for signoff.
- Review test results (including automation test results) and accountable of the testing quality and signoff.
- Work with the performance test personnel to plan, coordinate, track and manage the performance testing until closure.
- Responsible for the successful delivery of the testing project and quality.
- Escalate to Test COE Manager and Project Manager on timely basis if there is issue/risk requires attention and support.
- Conduct retrospective upon test closure.
- Adopt the Bank test process, methodology and tools.
- Conduct the test process and methodology, test tools training to the stakeholders or BNM team if required.
- Perform non-project/BAU tasks related to test process review, automation framework research/study, tool evaluations/setup/upgrade/maintenance/support, test improvements which are assigned by BNM Test COE Manager.
- Preferably local resource.
- Certification(s) would be an advantage.
- Experience in DevOps pipeline integration would be an advantage.
