Job Description (JD)
- Prepare Test Strategy and Test Plan documents and get stakeholders approvals.
- Finalize scope and identify high priority items.
- Create daily execution run plan for the tasks, identify dependencies, highlight risk and propose mitigate plan.
- Document, implement, monitor, and enforce all processes for testing as per standards defined by TCOE.
- Ensure SIT/UAT/Regression sign-off meets the exit criteria, Prepare UAT/Regression Closure reports.
- Organize the status meetings and send the Daily Status Report.
- Conduct daily defect triage meetings.
- Ensure testing process compliance.
- Overall manage UAT & Regression test deliverables within stated timelines.
- Meeting with system users to understand the scope of testing.
- Working with software developers and project support teams.
- RTM readiness in each phase with finalized requirements, test cases IDs are updated.
- Use of HP ALM tool for execution and defect logging.
- Test execution monitoring and control.
- Prepare the test execution Daily Status Report (DSR) and send it to Business Team Manager & Project Manager before end of the day.
- Project closure review and analysis.
- Ensure with Project Manager the test environment stability before starting test execution
- Prepare test summary report for all phases.
- Participate and support technical testing activities which include Pentest, Performance Test and DR Test.
- Prepare DR Test execution test closure report if required.
- Review all test evidence provided by test analyst to ensure the business requirements are tested, validated and delivered accordingly as per RTM.
- Provide post‑go‑live support by tracking production incidents to resolution and formal handover to BAU/support teams.
Key Skills / Knowledge and Behaviors (if applicable)
- Candidate with at least 8 years of working experience in software quality assurance/software testing.
- Preferably having hands on experience in banking industry and project management.
- Experience in managing and executing UAT for BAU patches/enhancement/project.
- Detail oriented, highly analytical, willing to learn and committed.
- Able to work as team or independently.
- Able to accept challenges and cope with demanding timeline.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Able to understand interdependence and effect on critical paths.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Preferable with hand-on Foreign Currency transaction testing experience in the past.
