JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand performance expectations and translate them into measurable requirements.
- Define detailed performance test plans, scenarios, and objectives.
- Analyze technical data, system metrics, logs, and test outputs to identify trends, risks, bottlenecks, and optimization opportunities.
- Interpret performance indicators and draw meaningful insights to support decision-making.
- Aggregate findings and present clear, concise insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Create and maintain performance benchmarks to evaluate system readiness against defined standards.
- Assess microservices, integrations, and cloud-based applications for scalability, reliability, and architectural impact.
- Provide data-driven recommendations and collaborate with development, infrastructure, and architecture teams on improvements.
- Prepare structured performance reports, insights dashboards, and documentation for management review.
- Work within an Agile environment, contributing analytical input during planning, refinement, and sprint reviews.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Assist with test environment setup, tool configuration, and CI/CD integration.
- Develop realistic test scenarios, create and maintain test scripts, and manage test data.
- Participate in test execution and collection of performance metrics.
- Assist in load, stress, and production performance monitoring activities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or any related background which is recognized by the Malaysian Government from any local or abroad higher learning institution with a minimum CGPA of 3.00.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, a technical or analytical role with performance testing experience is an advantage
- Experience in performance analysis, test result interpretation, or observability tools (Dynatrace, New Relic, etc.).
- Background in Business Analysis with technical exposure, requirements analysis, or impact assessment.
- Knowledge of cloud or microservices environments (AWS, Azure, OpenShift, Kubernetes).
- Experience automating analysis or integrating into CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret technical metrics, datasets, logs, and statistics.
- Ability to draw meaningful conclusions, identify trends, and produce structured insights that support decision-making.
- Able to summarize and present any technical data or insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of enterprise applications, data flows, API interactions, and general system architecture concepts.
- Hands-on experience with SQL or other database query tools to extract and analyze data.
- Familiarity with testing concepts (functional or non-functional), SDLC processes, and Agile/DevOps environments.
- Strong communication and documentation skills; comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Malaysian citizen.
- Obtain a pass in Bahasa Melayu, including an oral test in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or equivalent qualification recognised by the Government.
