Job Title: Software Tester / Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer - For Pooling

Location: Accenture Malaysia & Client Office

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary: We are building a talent pool of skilled Software Testers and QA Engineers to support various projects across different industries. Candidates will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications through rigorous testing methodologies. Applicants will be considered for multiple opportunities and may be reprofiled to other open positions that align with their skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Software Testing & Quality Assurance:

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Design, develop, and execute test cases based on requirements and user stories.
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.

2. Test Automation:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, or Playwright.
• Implement automated testing in CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.

3. Performance & Security Testing:

• Conduct performance testing using JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar tools.
• Identify security vulnerabilities and work with developers to mitigate risks.
• Ensure software applications comply with security best practices.

4. Agile & DevOps Collaboration:

• Work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams in Agile environments.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Ensure continuous testing in DevOps workflows.

5. Test Documentation & Reporting:

• Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Provide feedback and recommendations for process improvements.
• Maintain documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and transparency.

6. Cross-Platform & Mobile Testing:

• Perform testing across web, desktop, and mobile applications.
• Utilize mobile testing tools like Appium or XCUITest.
• Verify compatibility across different devices and operating systems.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience: Minimum 2-10+ years of experience in software testing and QA (varies by role level).
• Testing Tools: Experience with manual and automated testing tools.
• Programming Knowledge: Basic scripting in Python, Java, JavaScript, or C# for test automation.
• Defect Tracking: Familiarity with Jira, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
