Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Thai Translator located in Seri Kembangan. The Thai Translator will be responsible for translating media subtitles, ensuring translations are culturally nuanced and legally compliant. The translator will also be involved in preparing SRT files, transcription, and assisting with censorship editing tasks. Daily tasks include translating, proofreading, and collaborating with the localization team to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Thai and Chinese, both written and spoken
• Experience in translation, subtitling, and proofreading
• Knowledge of transcription and SRT file preparation
• Ability to understand and adapt culturally nuanced content
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field
• Experience in media localization is a plus
