Job Description:
The Role: Toolmaker Toolmaker is to provide support & services in maintaining the molds in the company. The support includes on site trouble shooting on the machine, call back during non working hour, insert changes for multi inserts tooling, Mold PM & mold/ inserts cleaning. What You'll Do:
- Perform mold troubleshooting and repairs.
- Provide onsite support during nonworking hours when required.
- Conduct insert changes for multipartnumber tooling.
- Perform mold preventive maintenance and cleaning.
- Record mold repair activities in the system and SAP.
- Communicate with Production on all moldrelated matters.
- Support tooling personnel with tasks as needed.
- Ensure molds released to production are capable of producing good parts.
- Safely operate general machine shop equipment such as lathe, milling, grinding, and argon welding machines.
- Safely operate forklifts. What We Seek:
- Minimum Diploma in Tool & Die or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience in plastic injection molding.
- Intermediate machine shop skills (lathe, milling, grinding).
- Strong knowledge of mold construction and repair.
- Good troubleshooting skills.
- Creativity in problem-solving. Outstanding Candidates Will Have:
