Automotive Industries Sdn. Bhd., a subsidiary company under Toyota Malaysia, is seeking a Total Quality Management Executive to join our team. The incumbent of this role will be responsible for driving total quality management, process improvement, digital initiatives, and standardization across plants.
Job Description
- Coordinate all improvement activities such as Total Quality Management programs, CRA corrective plans, KSS knowledge sharing, QCC, Kaizen and SSPOA initiatives.
- Lead and support digital transformation by gathering IT requirements, evaluating system gaps and coordinating system enhancement with stakeholders.
- Support cross-functional process improvement using PDCA, Lean tools, A3 methodology, 3G5W1H and structured problem-solving.
- Facilitate TQM-related training, coaching and communication to reinforce quality culture and operational discipline at all levels.
- Drive standardization and harmonization of practices across all plants (Plant 1, 2, 3 & Tg. Malim)
- Report progress of TQM, improvements projects, digital initiatives, CRA completion and cross-functional effectiveness to management.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, Data/Systems Management or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of TQM, QMS governance, risk-based thinking, Lean/TPS basics and continuous improvement tools.
- Able to translate operational requirements into IT/system requirements (functional specification, workflow mapping, process logic).
- Data analysis, facilitation, documentation and cross-functional communication skills.
- 2-4 years in TQM, CI/Lean, process improvement, system governance or transformation activities
