Role Description

Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur is seeking a qualified TPN Aseptic Pharmacist for a full-time, on-site role based in WP Kuala Lumpur. The pharmacist will be responsible for compounding Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) formulations in a sterile environment, performing quality checks, and maintaining accurate documentation. The role also involves monitoring patient responses and interacting with healthcare providers to ensure optimal nutrition management and compliance with regulatory guidelines. Additional responsibilities include inventory management for sterile products, contributing to the development of protocols, and ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques and safety procedures.

Qualifications

  • Experience in aseptic techniques and TPN compounding.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical standards, clinical nutrition, and safety regulations.
  • Highly observant with strong attention to detail while working in sterile environments.
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate records, reporting deviations, and ensuring quality control.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Qualification: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Pharmacy. Registration with the relevant health authority in Malaysia is required.
  • Experience in a healthcare or hospital-based pharmacy setting is highly advantageous.
  • Commitment to patient care, safety, and continuous professional development.
