Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Trade Marketing Executive (FMCG) to join our team. This role is responsible for driving the execution of trade marketing strategies across assigned channels by translating brand plans into impactful in-store activities, with the objective of maximizing product visibility and sales performance.

 

What You'll Be Doing:

1) Trade Marketing Planning & Activation

  • Assist in co-ordinating and execution of trade marketing activities, including roadshows, in-store promotions, product sampling, and other on-ground activations.
  • Support the execution of trade marketing campaigns in line with sales and marketing objectives.
  • Coordinate the development and deployment of POSM (point-of-sale materials) and in-store visibility initiatives. 

2) Channel Execution & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to implement trade marketing plans across retail, wholesale, and distribution channels.
  • Support channel-specific campaigns to enhance brand visibility and drive sell-out performance.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure smooth rollout of campaigns, including product availability and timely execution.

3) Campaign Performance & Market Insights

  • Monitor and track the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives, including sales performance and promotion outcomes.
  • Prepare regular reports and provide insights on campaign performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Conduct market visits and retail audits to ensure proper execution and brand presence in-store.

4) Operational Supports

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support for trade marketing activities.
  • Handle coordination, documentation, and follow-ups with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely execution of initiatives.

5) Others

  • Able to do multi-tasking (when necessary)
  • Address ad-hoc tasks given by direct manager as needed to ensure seamless operations.

 

Who We're Looking For:

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in trade marketing, FMCG, or category management
  • Experience in beauty FMCG is highly preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint & Excel)

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Skills in brand and shopper marketing, good understanding of customer needs and shopper journey
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong accountability and ownership mindset
  • Strong communication skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
