The role is responsible to drive brand visibility, sales growth, and retail excellence through effective trade and channel marketing initiatives. Working closely with sales and marketing teams, this role develops and executes trade programs, promotions, and retail activations that align with business objectives and uphold the brand's core values and spirit to our external partners and internal workforce. In particular, the candidate is responsible for the achievement of:
Sales Targets & Market Share
- To provide support to Sales and Marketing to deliver and exceed the annual assigned target by brand.
- To develop the annual strategic and quarterly trade marketing plans and collaborate with the sales team to optimize the sales opportunities from the channels.
- To ensure market share growth from AC Nielsen bi-annual reports
Lead trade marketing plans aligning to marketing and business objectives:
- Collaborate closely with the sales teams to plan, implement and execute marketing and trade promotion
- Oversee promotional campaigns and trade events to fulfil account needs and enhance sales outcomes
- Track and ensure ROI delivery and promo effectiveness to optimize trade plans and sales growth

Trade Marketing & Sales Support (60%)
- Trade Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute trade marketing plans tailored to key retail channels (mainly pharmacies and medical channels) to maximize brand visibility and sales performance that are aligned to the marketing objectives and brand communications.
- Retail Execution: Work closely with sales to ensure flawless in-store execution, to bring to life the marketing campaign / ad-hoc initiatives ensuring compliance with brand guidelines / regulatory requirements.
- Promotional Activities: Plan and implement trade promotions such as in-store activations, discount programs, GWP, sampling etc to drive sell-through.
- Category Management: Support category / brand reviews and collaborate with retailers to optimize brand presence and visibility
- Point-of-Sale (POSM) Management: Develop, produce, and distribute POS materials ensuring they are effectively deployed and maintained.
- Retail Training & Engagement: Conduct product training and engagement sessions for retail staff to enhance brand knowledge and advocacy.
- Consumer Engagement: Work with retailers / sales team to execute sampling programs, gift-with-purchase campaigns, and in-store beauty advisor initiatives to drive trial and conversion.
- Trade Budget Management: Monitor trade marketing budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum impact and return on investment (ROI).
- Field Audits & Market Intelligence: Conduct regular market visits to assess trade execution, gather competitive insights, and identify areas for improvement.
- Administrative Support: Submit quotes, track payments, ensure proper documentation of trade marketing activities, and manage vendor relationships to negotiate the best and lowest quotes for materials and services.
Brand Management & Digital/Social Media (30%)
- Support the execution of brand campaigns, ensuring consistency across trade and digital channels.
- Manage content creation and execution for social media platforms, including influencer partnerships and community engagement.
- Check and reply to consumer queries via social media and website. Arrange for product replacements and address product complains.
- Extend ATL marketing to align trade promotions with online advertising.
- Recruit and manage influencers and social groups with the right content and products logistics
- Manage samples and sampling deployment according to forecast.
Data Analysis & Reporting (10%)
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for trade and digital marketing activities, providing actionable insights.
Manage budgets, ROI analysis, and post-campaign evaluations to optimize future initiatives.
Prepare reports together with sales team on trade program effectiveness, consumer engagement, and market and competitors activities in the monthly sales report. Conduct Nielsen retail audit deep dive to develop insights and action plans.

Qualification Requirements
- A bachelor's degree
- Key skills include data analysis, category management, retail execution, and promotional planning, along with strong communication, negotiation, and project management abilities.
- Proficiency in SAP, AI, Photoshop is highly advantageous
- Strong project management skill is essential

EXPERIENCE: Depth of Industry Exposure
- Minimum 6 years experience in trade marketing or brand management in FMCG
- Experience in trade marketing and dealing with key stakeholders in hospitals, HCP associations, HCP KOL as well as category managers and buyers of major pharmacy chains and is essential
- Expertise in shopper behavior, in-store activations, and premiumization strategies.
- Knowledge of omnichannel strategies, digital trade marketing, and retailer collaborations.
- Other selling and marketing experience such as digital campaign events management is an advantage.
- Strong trade and experience in Customer Relationship Marketing is highly advantageous
- SAP user experience, AI and Photoshop usage tools would be advantageous

Other Information
Compliance Responsibilities: As per SOP requirements e.g. Compliance Training, Customer Complaints etc.
Physical Capability Requirements: General Office work, physical ability to drive a car and travel by plane.
Travel: Estimated 25 times per year
Work Pattern: Work after hours as required with tasks, some weekends for consumer/medical events, some travel for periods of up to a week
