Job Description

Our client, a dynamic and tech-forward F&B retail brand, is rapidly expanding across Southeast Asia is seeking a dynamic Trade Marketing Manager to drive impactful retail strategies and elevate brand presence across key channels.

In this role, you will work closely with sales and marketing teams to align on brand priorities and target market segments, build strong relationships with retail partners and wholesalers, and lead the execution of in-store activations, including POS materials, product displays, and promotional campaigns. If you have solid trade marketing experience within FMCG, enjoy hands-on execution, and are passionate about delivering measurable growth at the retail level, we'd love to connect.

Trade Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute trade marketing strategies aligned with overall business goals.
  • Partner closely with sales and marketing teams to drive brand priorities and category growth.
  • Identify high-impact opportunities and deliver targeted trade programs.

Retail & Channel Execution

  • Build strong partnerships with key retailers and wholesalers.
  • Lead in-store activations, POS materials, displays, and promotional visibility initiatives.

Promotions & Launch Activations

  • Plan and implement effective trade promotions, product launches, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Track execution performance and optimise activities to maximise sales impact.

Market & Performance Insights

  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and shopper behaviour.
  • Translate insights into actionable trade strategies and improvement plans.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Align closely with sales, brand marketing, and category teams for consistent execution.
  • Support shopper and category insights to strengthen commercial decisions.

Budget & ROI Management

  • Manage trade marketing budgets efficiently and ensure strong return on investment.
  • Monitor spending and report campaign effectiveness.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Guide and mentor junior team members.
  • Foster a high-performance, collaborative trade marketing culture.

Requirements

  • Min 35 years trade marketing experience, preferably in FMCG.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and results-oriented.
  • Prefer candidates with an FMCG background and trade marketing experience.
  • Willing to travel within Klang Valley to oversee events (e.g., activations or promoter sampling) approximately once every 12 weeks.
