Trade Operation Officer/ Associate (1 year contract)

Key Responsibilities

• Execute trade booking and allocation activities across global markets, including the US, Canada, Europe, and Asia-Pacific regions.
• Review and validate trade information, ensuring accuracy of trade dates, settlement dates, quantities, commissions, and foreign exchange rates prior to allocation confirmation.
• Generate, verify, and distribute trade confirmations to clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Reconcile broker confirmations against internal trade records, investigate discrepancies, and ensure prompt resolution.
• Maintain accurate trade documentation and contracts within trading platforms and settlement systems, including Fidessa, NOVA, and DTCC.
• Liaise with traders, brokers, and settlement teams to facilitate seamless trade execution and post-trade processing.
• Prepare and distribute operational and interoffice reports to regional teams across Hong Kong, Malaysia, and the United States.
• Process trade amendments, cancellations, and rebookings in accordance with client instructions and operational requirements.
• Support contract generation, risk file uploads, and foreign exchange rate maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
• Assist with CTM matching and settlement activities to ensure trades are settled accurately and within designated timelines.
• Respond to client and internal inquiries regarding trade processing, settlement status, and operational matters.
• Conduct daily trade reconciliations, control checks, and end-of-day validations to maintain data integrity, mitigate operational risks, and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
