Trademark Specialist

About Your Role

As our newest Trademark Associate/Executive in our Malaysia office, you will primarily support trademark matters across international markets and various jurisdictions, ensuring timely and accurate handling of filings, correspondence, and prosecution processes.

What You'll Do

• Portfolios management strategy, trademark prosecution matters, including oppositions and other contentious matters within the Asia jurisdiction.
• Conducting clearance searches, advising on filing strategies
• Responding to examination reports
• Coordinating filings across multiple jurisdictions
• Monitoring and tracking crucial deadlines
• Performing general administrative duties, maintaining internal records

What You Bring

• A Bachelor's Degree in Law or equivalent qualification.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a similar trademark role is highly advantageous.
• Able to handle high volumes of workload with good time management.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in Mandarin would be highly advantageous but not necessary, to conduct minor translations and similar scopes of work.
