Business Objectives
- Ensure on-going optimal use of the training activities and resources n compliant fashion
- Ensures conformity of crew members to training and recurrency requirements
- Ensure disruptions to training are recovered and addressed in an expeditious and compliant manner as appropriate
- Ensure transparent management of crew resource
- Highlight resourcing constraints and proactive strategizing to address prior to publication
- Adequate and even distribution of the resources to ensure uniform balancing
- Liaise with own and third party training facility and service providers to ensure availability of required resources to meet the training requirements of the Group
- Monitor day-to-day live operations to review and proactively manage any impact on training activities
Primary Accountabilities
- Work within a team responsible for the crew schedule production across the Group of AOC's
- Allocate training resources and activities in line and within manpower targets on a daily basis to ensure optimal distribution and availability of flying crew to cover the operations
- Escalate resourcing issues ahead of time to allow for adequate response across the business
- Secure and manage bookings of internal and external training resources including manpower, facilities, simulators, etc
- Take a proactive approach ensuring the optimum use of the crew resources through efficient training planning.
- Management of active and published crew training planning schedules with recovery steps as necessary when disrupted
- Ensure training activities are aligned with resource and travel requirements
- Continuously track crew compliance to ensure a full audit trail and corrective action where necessary
- Ensure all training and qualification requirements are met to enable legal and safe operation of all crew members
Criteria
- Degree or Diploma in a relevant discipline. Possess foundational knowledge or experience within the Aviation Industry is an added advantage.
- Demonstrated expertise in the Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced command of Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Exhibit meticulous attention to detail critical for regulatory compliance and maintaining accurate audit trails.
- Problem Resolution: Proven capability as a proactive problem-solver with strong analytical and professional communication skills.
