SUMMARY:
The International Training Specialist is responsible for the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of training programs across ASEA's international support operations, focusing primarily on Asia but potentially other regions.
This role supports both internal support teams and external audiences, including customers and Brand Partners, ensuring training is consistent, scalable, and aligned with business needs. The position partners closely with the Senior Manager, Support Operations and cross-functional leadership to identify training needs, address performance gaps, and support overall operational success.
This role operates with a high level of ownership and accountability in managing global training initiatives and priorities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Training Development and Delivery
- Design, develop, and deliver training for new hires, ongoing development, and refresher programs
- Facilitate virtual and in-person training sessions for international audiences
- Adapt training delivery to accommodate different learning styles and regional needs
- Maintain and update training materials to ensure alignment with current processes, policies, and product updates
- Track questions and feedback during training to support content accuracy and consistency
Global Training Support
- Support training initiatives focusing primarily on Asia but potentially other regions, ensuring alignment with operational priorities
- Partner with regional leadership to identify training needs and support localized initiatives
- Maintain flexibility to support training schedules across multiple time zones
- Ensure consistency in training delivery while allowing for regional variations when needed
External Training (Customers and Brand Partners)
- Support the development and delivery of training for customers and Brand Partners, including onboarding and product education
- Partner with leadership to identify opportunities to expand external training efforts
- Contribute to scalable training solutions, including recorded sessions, and structured learning resources
Performance and Continuous Improvement
- Analyze performance trends and identify skill gaps to inform training priorities
- Provide structured feedback and recommendations to leadership based on training observations and outcomes
- Continuously evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements
- Support initiatives that improve overall performance, quality, and customer experience
Content and Knowledge Integration
- Ensure training content is accurate, up to date, and aligned with operational processes
- Maintain ownership of training content consistency across global regions
- Partner with Knowledge Base and Learning teams to maintain consistency across training and documentation
- Support updates to training materials, certifications, and supporting resources
Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with the Senior Manager, Support Operations, Senior Training and Development Team Lead, and cross-functional teams to align priorities
- Collaborate with Operations, WFM, and regional leadership to support business needs
- Participating in team and cross-functional meetings to maintain alignment and visibility
- Contribute to departmental improvements by providing feedback, insights, and recommendations
Additional Responsibilities
- Maintain a strong understanding of ASEA products, systems, and processes
- Support operational needs during high-volume periods as required
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in training, facilitation, or learning and development
- Experience in customer support or contact center environments with leadership experience preferred
- Experience supporting international teams preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and training tools
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin (other languages are a plus).
