Your Role
As a Treasury Executive, you will be the engine room of our global cash operations. You will manage bank accounts across our regional entities, ensure smooth cross-border fund movements, and maintain strong banking relationships as we scale. This role offers deep exposure to regional finance operations, global liquidity management, and process automation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Banking & KYC Operations
- Account Management: Lead the end-to-end process for opening new bank accounts in expansion markets such as Vietnam, Thailand, Mexico, and Brazil.
- KYC Ownership: Manage all Know-Your-Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) documentation requests from international banking partners.
- Portal Administration: Serve as the primary administrator for corporate banking platforms, managing user access and security protocols.
2. Cash & Liquidity Execution
- Payment Execution: Prepare and execute international payments and intercompany fund transfers via FAST, GIRO, and Telegraphic Transfer (TT).
- Liquidity Monitoring: Consolidate daily bank balances across multiple currencies to provide a real-time view of global liquidity.
- Cashflow Support: Provide accurate data on actual cash movements to support regional cashflow forecasting.
3. Compliance & Audit
- Tax Compliance: Support the processing of Withholding Tax (WHT) for overseas vendor payments and intercompany settlements.
- Audit Support: Support internal and external audits (including IPO readiness) by providing organized bank reconciliations and documentation.
- Process Discipline: Ensure all treasury activities follow internal controls, adhering to the principle of clear accountability and updates.
4. Process Automation
- Digital Tools: Identify opportunities to streamline banking workflows and integrate bank feeds with our accounting system.
- Automation Support: Collaborate with the automation team to build a paperless and efficient treasury environment.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in Treasury, Banking Operations, or a related finance role.
- Industry: Prior experience in a startup, technology company, or multi-entity environment is a plus.
Technical Skills & Competencies
- Systems: Proficiency in cloud-based accounting systems (e.g., Xero) and experience with international banking portals.
- Excel: Strong Microsoft Excel skills; experience with Power BI or Power Query is a strong advantage.
- Languages: Mandarin proficiency is an advantage to facilitate coordination across regional teams.
- Mindset: A Diagnostic & Stabilization approach to solving operational bottlenecks and a proactive interest in automation.
