Campbell Malaysia is the Regional Hub for The Arnott's Group Asia Business Unit. Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the organization leads the strategy & direction to ensure that The Arnott's Group has a geographical footprint across Total Asia.
Campbell Malaysia also supports the region by supplying locally manufactured and marketed brands such as Campbell's soup, Prego pasta sauces as well as Kimball & Cheong Chan sauces. Asia's extended range of consumer food brands also include TST, Swanson, GoodTime & Nyam Nyam.
They join TheArnott's Group's portfolio ofbrands like Aussie legends Tim Tam & Shapes as well as New Zealand's favorite Farm Bake Cookies to drive presence in Asia.
Position based in Bangsar.
Key Responsibilities:
(a). Debt Management
- Review notices and prepare summary for interest & fee payments
- Preparation of Borrowing File including interest & fee projections, including updating interest rate forecasts
- Manage Group intercompany loans including standing and manual journals, maturity and payments / receipts
- Treasury Projections for intercompany loans
- Prepare journals for interest accruals, USD loan Reval and MTM
- Manage Letter of Credit Register and reviewing the Registers from Administrators
- Review LC fees & any required recharges
- Prepare Debt related reconciliations
- Update Debt Issue Costs for amortisation as applicable
(b). Treasury
- Coordinate Group FCF forecasting updating templates, sending to region for update, reviewing responses and managing queries
- Assist with Treasury month end including interest rate management and MTM entries
- Support Regional Treasury & Insurance Manager in preparation of statutory accounting disclosures relating to Treasury
- Support Regional Treasury & Insurance Manager in preparation of reporting required by Tax team.
(c). Insurance
- Prepare General Insurance financial projections, journals, reconciliations & reporting
- Project manage and coordinate data collection and completion of renewal declarations for global and local insurance programs - partnering with a broad cross section of the business in all geographies
- Coordinate timely renewal of insurance programs and distribute certificates of currency
- Analyse and report on financial aspects of the Australian workers compensation program including provision estimates, reconciliations, internal & external reporting and renewals
- Review premium calculations and adjustments and manage premium payments / refunds
- Support claims management / reporting processes
(d). General
- Support projects for improvement to liquidity management and cash flow
- Support initiatives to manage insurable risk cost effectively
- Ensure compliance with controls, procedures and policies associated with Treasury and Insurance
Qualifications & Experience
- 3-5 years experience and a keen interest in Treasury and / or Insurance
- Strong Accounting skills (Degree qualified)
- CA/CPA or working towards viewed favourably
- Attention to detail critical
- Good project & time management skills including proactive planning and organisation skills
- Advanced analytical and Excel Skills
- Strong Communication skills
- Experience working in a team environment
- Problem solving skills with a drive for process improvement, adaptable to change
