Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Trust Operations Officer, based in Labuan with the flexibility of work-from-home days. The Trust Officer will oversee the administration of trusts, manage fiduciary responsibilities, and provide expertise in escrow accounts, custodian and wealth management. The role also involves offering trust services to clients, collaborating with financial professionals, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Building and maintaining client relationships and delivering exceptional service will be key components of this position.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of trust services and fiduciary responsibilities
• Understanding of finance principles and practical application in trust, custody and escrow management.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
• Proven track record in building and maintaining client relationships.
• Experience in a similar role or the financial sector is preferred but not mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, or a related field is an advantage.
• A member of the association of accountants, an associate or fellow of any association of bankers, insurers or company secretaries or similar body recognized by the Authority and licensed Trust Officers recognized by Labuan FSA is highly recommended.
