Job Descriptions

Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving the escalated incident in Linux/Unix Server platforms

-

Escalated the case to L3 Infrastructure/application team if need

-

Perform the regular server operations such as setup, upgrade, patches deployment, monitoring and health checks, backup and restore etc

-

Responsible for system troubleshooting and performance turning.

-

Prepare and maintain technical documentations.

-

Providing support on issues related to servers and storages

-

Liaise with external vendors for IT Server operations and maintenance

Requirements:

-

Bachelor in Computer Science or related discipline;

-

Holder of ITIL Foundation or above is a plus

-

>2 years relevant working experiences in Linux Servers, VMware, x86 servers and storage

-

Sizeable company and ITIL experience is preferable

-

Self-motivated, quick learner, Can-do attitude and able to work under pressure

-

Good written and verbal communication skills in English, and Cantonese is a plus

-

Knowing in AIX/HPUX/Solaris is a plus

-

Willing to work night shift & and on public holidays

IBM DS8870 hardware and software operation include PPRC operation, SAN provision, SAN sync scripting

EMC storage include remote copy, SAN provision, etc

HP 3PAR storage include remote copy, SAN provision, etc

IBM V7K hardware and software operation include Meter Mirror, flashcopy, SAN provision

HDS G3xx storage include remote copy, SAN provision, etc

FC switch hardware and software operation include SAN zone

FC route operation includes SAN sync
