UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub2) is a UOB-wholly owned subsidiary and a Centre of Excellence based in Malaysia, providing Group Business Services (GBS) to support the UOB Group. Started in 2021 with technology application design, development and support, InnoHub2 is expanding beyond technology services to deliver other business services to support the Bank's growth ambition. We are looking for talented and motivated individuals to be part of the pioneer team spearheading the development and delivery of the new services.

Job Responsibilities
1. Install, configure, and maintain Linux and/or Windows servers (physical and virtual)
2. Create and manage user accounts, groups, and permissions as per Standards
3. Patch Management using a commercial tool
4. Maintain compliance with security baselines.
5. Performance Tuning , creating custom services, and trouble applications for performance.
6. Write and maintain scripts in Bash, PowerShell for routine tasks.
7. Installing Third party tools like oracle client, MQ, etc.. as requested by the application teams
8. Documentation & Change Management
Job Requirements
The candidate must have minimum 6 years working experience in the following areas:-
a) Technical hands on experience in building Linux or windows servers
b) Well versed in working on Unix/Linux OS
c) Application deployment automation using python, groovy or other scripting languages
d) Familiar with system and database backup/restore, disaster recovery procedures and Load balancers
e) Experience in vendor product software installation and documentation of installation steps
f) Able to document the technical architecture using servers and network diagrams
Candidate with the following knowledge will be preferred :-
a. Unix/Linux administration
b. Working experience in DevOps Tools (Jenkins, Bitbucket)
c. Excellent knowledge of MS SQL-Server / Oracle
d Excellent communication and influencing skills
Key Skills:
Infrastructure: Solaris, Linux, Windows, Oracle DB
DevOps Tooling: Jenkins
Scripting / Coding: Shell Scripting, PYTHON, Groovy
