Position Overview

Step into a role where design shapes real-world outcomes. As a UI/UX Designer, you will play a key role in crafting intuitive, efficient, and visually refined digital experiences. Your mission is to translate complex workflows into clear, user-friendly interfaces that help users work better, faster, and with confidence.

Working closely with product owners, engineers, and stakeholders, you will own the end-to-end design processfrom understanding user needs to delivering polished, production-ready designs. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong design fundamentals with practical problem-solving and can work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.

Your responsibilities will encompass the following key areas:

  • User Experience Design - Research, design, and refine user journeys, flows, and interactions to create intuitive and efficient experiences for users.
  • User Interface Design - Create clean, consistent, and visually appealing interfaces that align with product goals and usability best practices.
  • Design Systems & Consistency - Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and reusable components to ensure consistency across the product.
  • Collaboration & Ownership - Work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements, propose design solutions, and see designs through from concept to implementation.
  • Prototyping & Validation - Build wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design ideas and validate concepts early.
  • Usability & Accessibility - Apply usability principles and accessibility best practices to ensure inclusive and user-friendly designs.
  • Design Handoff & Support - Prepare clear design specifications and assets for engineering teams, and support implementation to ensure design intent is maintained.
  • Iteration & Improvement - Gather feedback from users and internal teams, continuously iterating and improving designs based on insights and data.
  • Professional Growth - Stay current with design trends, tools, and methodologies, contributing ideas to improve product quality and team practices.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
  • At least 35 years of experience in UI/UX or product design
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
  • High attention to detail and strong time management skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving product needs
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Must-Have Skills

Design Fundamentals

  • Strong understanding of UX principles, information architecture, and interaction design
  • Solid visual design skills, including layout, typography, and colour usage

Design Tools

  • Proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator or equivalent
  • Experience creating wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and prototypes

User-Centric Design

  • Ability to translate complex requirements into simple, intuitive interfaces
  • Experience designing data-heavy or workflow-driven applications

Collaboration

  • Experience working closely with developers to ensure smooth design handoff and implementation

Bonus Skills

  • Experience designing complex business or data-driven software
  • Familiarity with usability testing and basic user research methods
  • Experience contributing to or maintaining a design system
  • Understanding of front-end development basics (HTML/CSS)
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices
